Our Vermicompost Starter Culture is harvested directly from our active vermiculture systems and includes a rich blend of beneficial microorganisms, organic matter, and macro-organisms, including red wiggler worms. Unlike purchasing worms alone or in a sterile environment, this starter culture introduces the full biological community that makes vermicomposting thrive.

Each batch contains a diverse mix of decomposers already working together to break down food scraps efficiently and create nutrient-rich compost. While red wigglers are included, the exact number of worms will vary, because what you’re getting is not a measured quantity of worms, but a complete, living system.
